Regione Piemonte – Local Authority for Research, Innovation and Internationalisation Policy of Piemonte Region

Regione Piemonte (RP) is the regional governmental body for promoting research, innovation and internationalization in the Piedmont region.  As a former manufacturing region, Piemonte has in recent years experienced a substantial structural change leading the region towards a primarily knowledge based economy, in which the interplay between creative industries and Technology play a crucial role. RP’s related activities focus on:

• Promoting innovation and research in traditional industries by stimulating creative solutions and interdisciplinary collaborations
  

• Fostering ICT-uptake in SMEs

• Promoting design as competitive factors in SMEs products, services or production processes

• Fostering creative industries as a “technological platform”, i.e. the convergence between traditional industries and new technologies

• Develop new services, products and business models

Main tasks in the project CReATE:
Regione Piemonte is partner in Piemonte regional consortium.
