Imaginove – Contents cluster in Rhône-Alpes

Companies involved in Imaginove cover all activities related to moving pictures within the Rhone Alpes region (second region in France).  Companies working on Video Games, Animation, Audiovisual and Film have similar development needs in the field of development of business strategy, research and training session. Imaginove, it’s in 2008 more than 200 SME, 18 research centres and 12 schools specialised in the moving images. Imaginove cluster belongs to the French network of “pôle de compétitivité” (competitivness cluster). Created in 2005, the  main goal is promoting innovation and research by stimulation creative solutions and interdisciplinary collaborations between firms and research lab. This projects are focus particularly on 5 R&D specific axes are productivity, quality, serious games, interoperability and interactivity.

Main task in the Project CReATE

Imaginove takes the regional project management in Rhône-Alpes. Further Imaginove conducts an in-depth regional analysis in Rhône-Alpes region regarding ICT-uptake and innovation potential in creative industries clusters. It  organizes the  fourth consortium meeting in Lyon (February 2010) to discuss the draft  on the Joint  Research Agenda.
